How to strike a work/life balance
I want to thank my family and friends for their unwavering support throughout my health recovery. Your encouragement means the world to me.
As I transition out of the acute phase of my illness, I am filled with determination to regain my strength, prioritize my health, and fully commit myself to my company. This journey hasn't been easy, and I continue to face challenges such as chronic pain, debilitating migraines, and psychological issues. I've come to realize that I can't work in the same way I did before, and I need to listen to my body, allowing for rest and the flexibility to attend numerous doctor appointments.
Running my own business is the only path that aligns with my well-being needs, and it gives me the opportunity to manage my time effectively. It allows me to strike a balance between work and self-care, ensuring that I can be the best version of myself while living with the uncertainty of my health.
The journey from my diagnosis at 25 to a recurrence at 27 has been marked by questions about genetics, environment, and fate. While I can't control those factors, I've found solace in the ability to make choices about what I put into my body and the environment I surround myself with. This has ignited a newfound passion for sustainability and eco-friendly living.
This passion has inspired me to embark on a new venture, crafting and selling soy candles in vintage and recyclable vessels. These candles are not just ordinary candles; they represent my commitment to a healthier lifestyle and a greener planet. Each candle purchase supports not only my business but also my journey to a cancer-free life.
I hope you'll consider choosing my candles when you make your purchase decisions. Your support means the world to me and is a beacon of hope as I look forward to the next 25 years, cancer-free. Together, we can make a positive impact on my life and the planet.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of my support system and for considering my candles. Your kindness and generosity are invaluable to me.
With love and gratitude,
Leah of Lethal Lites Candles
